About the event
Katy Youth Symphony is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for young musicians to grow and excel in their craft. Our camps offer a unique opportunity for students to fine-tune their skills, learn from experienced instructors, and collaborate with other talented individuals. In addition to the valuable musical education students receive at the camps, they also have the chance to showcase their talents in a concert held at the end of the session. This concert not only allow students to demonstrate their progress but also serve as a source of inspiration for the community.
Katy Youth Symphony Summer Strings Camp is a week long musical experience that offers young string musicians an opportunity to grow musically in a fun and exciting learning environment. Participating musicians will choose between instrument specific masterclasses, 'String-inar' electives and fun activities, ending in the camp-wide performance the last day of camp!
